Q9: What happens if my child cannot attend a lesson?   Will I get a refund or a make up session?
If you choose not to attend a session you will not receive a refund or a make up session.
If however your child is sick/injured and you notify us prior to the session and can then provide us with a doctor’s note we will be happy to arrange a make up session for your child.

I have enrolled my child on Saturday/Sunday and cannot attend that day this week, as a one off can I bring my child on the other day?

No unfortunately not.   Our courses are very popular and space as always is at a premium.   If parents decide to pick and choose when they bring their child we cannot manage the sessions effectively.   This will be detrimental to the children’s enjoyment and everyone’s safety at the sessions.   Please attend the sessions on the day and time you initially booked.   If this becomes a long term problem please contact our office.

Q12: What if my child performs well at the Soccer School?
Students with a good performance may be selected for further ‘advanced’ training.   Players excelling in advanced training may be selected to represent CSSHK’s elite teams including matches, tournaments, training camps and the opportunity to travel to England for additional training with ChelseaFC.   This will always be at the coach’s discretion.

Q13: How do sessions work?
Sessions give children a fun learning experience using the same training methods that the Chelsea FC Foundation use in the UK to develop young players.   Sessions are designed to improve players’ concentration, reactions, ball skills, co-ordination and awareness.   The last 30 minutes of the session are always a small sided game.   The final session of the month is always a tournament day where the children get to play longer matches and practice the skills they have learnt over the course.

Q14: How many people in a session?
In the interests of health and safety, children’s enjoyment of the session and the ideal football development environment ChelseaFC HK strive to limit sessions to a maximum 12 children to 1 coach.
As sessions are open to all children, during a monthly block sessions may occasionally become oversubscribed.   In this event ChelseaFC HK reserve the right to change session times and/or venues to move children to a new session in order to deliver the best training experience possible.
